The Ever Given, race against time at the Suez Canal - RMC Story

You probably heard about the historic event that happened in the Suez Canal in March 2021. The container ship "Ever Given" ran aground on a bank of the Suez Canal, one of the busiest maritime trade routes in the world. After having paralyzed traffic for almost a week, the ship was finally able to be refloated. How did the "Ever Given", one of the world's largest cargo ships, carrying 20,000 containers, end up in such a critical situation? Stuck in the sand, the 400-meter long ship, taller than the Eiffel Tower, instantly created a terrible traffic jam with hundreds of ships accumulating from one end of the Canal to the other.

On May 31, 2021, RMC Story released a new documentary "Ever Given, race against the clock at the Suez Canal" (Ah! Production / Factual Factory / RMC Story) directed by Simon Viguié.

For the needs of the documentary, French production company Ah! Production asked Myth-to-Measure to conduct interviews in London with 2 experts: Rahul Khanna (Global Head of Marine Risk Consulting at Allianz) and Patrick Adamson (Chairman and Founding partner of MTI Network). Myth-to-Measure was able to do these interviews in one day. Here are some behind-the-scenes pictures:
